Jonathan Smoller is an experienced civil litigator with an emphasis on contract, real estate and business litigation. Jon has represented individual and corporate clients in a wide variety of disputes involving, among other things, commercial leases, residential purchase and sale agreements, construction law, defamation, unfair competition, partnerships, and creditors' rights in state and federal courts. He is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central, Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of California and the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii.
Jon received his bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from UCLA, where he graduated with magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors. Jon received his law degree from the UCLA School of Law in 1988, and was the Managing Editor of the UCLA Journal of Environmental Law & Policy and a Teaching Assistant for 1st Year Legal Research and Writing.
Jon currently sits on the Central City Police Booster’s Advisory Board.
Jon is an active Rotarian and a two-time past president of the Los Angeles Morning Rotary Club.
